Tim Schäfer cuts and grades in DaVinci Resolve. Maja Lehmann mixes. Captions in German or English are a separate rate: €120 incl. VAT per 10 minutes of finished length (€100.84 net). The work sits in the 28 m² control room, not an open loft.
Packages: interview up to 20 minutes finished €450 incl. VAT (€378.15 net). Talk up to 40 minutes finished €890 incl. VAT (€747.90 net). Both include 2 rounds. Beyond that the hourly rate applies. Outside rushes only after a review; foreign codecs may raise the rate, and we say so before we start.
Four finishing steps
- Review of tracks, target length, format from the delivery guide. Quote within one working day.
- Deposit 40% on the package or on estimated hours. First cut on an agreed date, not overnight.
- 2 rounds in the packages, collected in writing, not a daily drip of single thoughts.
- Master after sign-off, rights after payment in full. Archive 18 months including the project if the drive holds it.
What a round means
A round is one collected list: timecodes, the wish, picture or sound. "Warmer somehow" without a timecode counts as one mood note per round, not a licence for a new story. New interview cuts that build a third narrative are not a correction; they are new hours.
Colour and Rec.709
Standard is Rec.709, 25p, H.264 or ProRes. We do not deliver HDR. Log from the talk set only if booked that way. Skin stays in the house copper-cream line, without filters that copy a social template.
Mix
Speech in front, courtyard noise down where possible, no music we did not receive from you as a licensed track. Loudness to your spec; without a spec, −16 LUFS for network video or −23 LUFS for broadcast, chosen in writing in the request.
Captions and access
Captions are timed text, not an unseen machine dump. Language DE or EN, not both in the package price. The website accessibility statement is separate from film captions.
Timelines
Interview package: first cut in 5 working days after the deposit clears, if the material is Lumeton's. Talk package: 8 working days. Hourly jobs follow the calendar. There is no overnight product; an earlier slot only if control is free, at the same rate.
Not included
Motion design, trailer campaigns, posters, social cut-downs beyond three 16:9 or 1:1 variants without hours. Music composition. Voice-over except in the studio at studio rates. Drone plates.

No. Rounds are collected. Daily mails stretch the timeline without opening an extra round.
Do you cut outside material?
After a review. Codecs and rights must be clear, or we decline.
