Terms of service

In short

  1. Contracting party: Lumeton GmbH. German law, venue Berlin where allowed.
  2. Deposit 40%. Free cancel until 5 calendar days before 10:00 Europe/Berlin.
  3. 2 revision rounds in post packages. Uses of the master after payment in full.
  4. Businesses: net 14 days. Minimum age 18 (16–17 with a guardian).

1. Scope

These terms cover studio, recording and post work by Lumeton GmbH for businesses and consumers. Other purchasing terms apply only in writing.

2. Formation

The website invites a request; it is not a binding offer. The contract forms with our written email confirmation and receipt of the 40% gross deposit. We answer requests within one working day.

3. Services and rates

Service descriptions and gross prices incl. 19% VAT sit on the service pages and the rate sheet. Net = gross ÷ 1.19. Make-up, styling, music licences, audience and locations other than Lychener Straße 47 are out unless confirmed.

4. Dates

Sessions by appointment. Hours Tuesday–Friday 10:00–19:00, Saturday 10:00–16:00, closed Sunday and Monday, Europe/Berlin. Courtyard or stair works may move a slot; we offer a replacement within one working day.

5. Your duties

You supply names, pronouns, seating, remote links the day before and consents of people in frame. Minimum age 18; 16–17 only with a guardian present.

6. Deposit, cancel, move

Deposit 40% of gross. Free cancellation until 5 calendar days before 10:00 Europe/Berlin. After that we keep the deposit; the balance drops if you do not rebook. One move inside 30 days if a slot is free. Consumer withdrawal for leisure services on a fixed date may be limited by statute; we add a separate note in the confirmation where the law requires it.

7. Post-production

Packages include 2 rounds, collected with timecodes. Further rounds at €95 incl. VAT per hour. First cut interview package in 5 working days, talk package in 8 working days after the deposit, if the material comes from our studio.

8. Rights in the master

Until payment in full, copyright and related rights stay with Lumeton GmbH. After 100% payment we grant the uses named in the confirmation, by default editorial and internal, worldwide, unlimited in time. Advertising and posters only with an express clause. 9. Archive

Technical copies 18 months after the session, then deletion unless a written extension exists.

10. Payment

Consumers pay on invoice before uses transfer. Businesses net 14 days. Statutory default interest. Set-off only with undisputed or finally judged claims.

11. Liability

Unlimited for intent and gross negligence. For simple negligence we are liable for injury to life, body or health and for essential duties, capped at the foreseeable typical loss. Product liability and any guarantee we do not give remain untouched.

12. Privacy and processing

Processing under the privacy notice. Processor terms for business customers: DPA.

13. Law

Law of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding CISG. Consumers keep mandatory protections of their habitual residence. Venue for merchants: Berlin. Contract language German.
