Questions before you book
Answers on slots, files, rights, payment and cancellation. The same figures as in the terms: 40% deposit, free cancel 5 calendar days before 10:00 Europe/Berlin, archive 18 months, 2 revision rounds in packages, B2B 14 days, minimum age 18.
Booking
How do I request a date?
Through the form on the contact page. We reply within one working day. There is no public checkout and no instant booking.
Can I arrive without a booking?
No. By appointment only, Tue–Fri 10–19, Sat 10–16. Sunday and Monday the house is closed.
How fast do you reply?
Within one working day. Tuesday to Friday usually by 18:00 Europe/Berlin. Mail that arrives on Saturday waits until Tuesday.
Which languages on site?
German and English. Anja Richter writes in both.
Is there a clickable calendar?
No. Slots depend on the team, courtyard works and deposits already placed. Hence a short message instead of a public grid.
Sessions
How large are the rooms?
180 m² in total: interview 45 m², talk 70 m², control 28 m², green room 18 m². Talk set up to twelve people including crew.
What happens in the first minutes?
Line-up: interview about 25 minutes, talk 40, podcast 20. That time sits inside the booking.
May minors speak?
Minimum age 18. Ages 16 and 17 only with a parent or guardian present. Younger voices are not recorded.
Make-up and catering?
Water and unsweetened tea. Make-up, styling and food are not included.
Where do I park?
Prenzlauer Berg resident parking. A public option nearer Schönhauser Allee. Cases through the front door, no ramp.
Files and delivery
Which picture format?
ProRes 422 HQ or H.264, 25p, Rec.709. Sound WAV 48 kHz 24-bit. See Delivery formats.
When do rushes arrive?
The same or next working day after the session.
How long do you store files?
18 months after the session, then deletion, unless a written extension exists.
How many edit corrections?
Packages include 2 rounds, collected, with timecodes. Further rounds at €95 incl. VAT per hour.
Do you post a USB stick?
You supply an unlabelled drive, or we place a download link for seven days.
Rights
When do uses transfer?
After payment in full of that order. Until then the master stays with Lumeton GmbH. Terms art. 8, guide Image and sound rights.
May we run excerpts as ads?
Advertising use only if the confirmation says so. Editorial use of the master is the default after payment.
Who collects guest consents?
You. Remote guests need their own agreement with you. We record in Berlin.
Music on the talk set?
Only licensed tracks you deliver. We do not compose and we do not clear collecting-society repertoires for you.
Payment and cancellation
How high is the deposit?
40% of the gross amount with the confirmation. No incoming payment, no slot.
When is cancellation free?
Until 5 calendar days before 10:00 Europe/Berlin. After that the deposit stays, the balance drops if you do not rebook. Terms art. 6.
How do businesses pay?
Net 14 days on invoice after the session or after the master, VAT ID on the order.
How do you calculate VAT?
19%. Net = gross ÷ 1.19. Table on Services.
What does a request store?
Name, email, text, 12 months. Sent via FormSubmit in the USA. Details in the privacy notice.

A few edge questions
The bell on the walnut door frame reads Lumeton. There is no shop window and no reception desk. Arrive early and wait in the 18 m² green room, not in the stair, because the Altbau has neighbours. Dogs stay outside; bicycles on the rack if it is free. The toilet is in the building and not fully step-free; that sits in the accessibility statement.
